TIME TO ACT

In a major boost to the fight against plastic pollution, the Government of Delhi has banned the use ,sale and storage of plastic bags in National Capital Territory of  Delhi.

This has been achieved after a protracted legal battle and an arduous fight by the Environmental Crusaders. It is high time that this example is emulated by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to stem the rot which is threatening to consume the landscape of Kashmir.
